With his series DrOWNing SKY photographer J. Flynn Novotny tries to work on old and recurring dreams of flooded landscapes and tsunami like scenarios where no escape seems possible. J. Flynn Novotny visualizes the apocalyptic moment when his very own dream world is collapsing.
DrOWNing SKY receives increasing attention in the media. The world’s first and most popular digital architecture and design magazine designboom featured this photography series in May 2016, followed by popular magazines like the spanish QUO or Bored Panda. DrOWNing SKY is a continued project.
